A healing ministry for post-abortive women
Project Rachel is a program that reaches out to the post-abortive woman and her family as a means of receiving the healing grace of God through sacramental reconciliation, counseling and prayer. It is a ministry of the Respect Life Office.
In the Diocese of Little Rock, Project Rachel support groups begin meeting in February and September for 11 weeks in various locations throughout Arkansas. These groups are for anyone suffering from the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual effects of a past abortion.
Participants may also attend an annual retreat with others in Project Rachel support groups. To register for a support group or get more information, e-mail Helen Malchan-Evans or call (501) 664-0340, ext. 357. (All e-mails and calls are kept strictly confidential.)
To learn more about Project Rachel, read this testimonial from a woman who attended Project Rachel in Arkansas, or visit to Hope After Abortion, which offers resources and testimonials from women who have taken part in this program worldwide. This website is available in English and Spanish.
