The Catholic Campaign for Human Development works to uphold the dignity of human life and break the cycle of poverty in the United States. Donations to this collection are used for grants to local community-based groups that create jobs, improve education and strengthen neighborhoods. Twenty-five percent of the money collected stays in our diocese for Catholic Charities of Arkansas to help people in need. The remainder of the donations are sent to the national office for projects addressing the root causes of poverty and aligned with Catholic social teaching. For more information, contact the Stewardship and Development Office at (501) 664-0340.
