Responsible for planning, developing and overseeing all aspects of the parish’s music ministry, including recruiting, training and accompanying music personnel while collaborating with clergy, parish staff and music ministry members and ensuring all music supports and enhances the spiritual life of the parish in alignment with Roman Catholic tradition; must have practical experience in planning worship and leading liturgical music, be proficient at playing organ and piano, prepared to work with all age groups and with both traditional and contemporary styles of music, have excellent understanding of Catholic liturgy, at least two years of church music experience to include leading and mentoring a choir, and be compliant with diocesan safe environment policies, including background check
