Bishop Anthony B. Taylor will install seven Diocese of Little Rock seminarians as candidates, lectors and acolytes as part of their journey toward priesthood during special Masses in May at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock. All are invited to attend.

The bishop celebrated the Admission to Candidacy Mass Wednesday, May 10 at 6 p.m. Joshua Osborne, of St. Joseph Church in Conway, had demonstrated the necessary qualifications for ordination and was installed as a candidate during the Mass.

He will celebrate the Installation of Lector Mass Saturday, May 13 at 4:30 p.m. During the Mass, the following seminarians will be installed, allowing them to proclaim the Word of God during liturgies and catechize the faithful: Christopher Elser, of Christ the King Church in Little Rock; Quinton Thomas, of Blessed Sacrament Church in Jonesboro; and Joseph Minh Phong Nguyen and Tuan Do, both of St. Patrick Church in North Little Rock.

Bishop Taylor will celebrate the Installation to Acolyte Mass Wednesday, May 17 at 6 p.m. During the Mass, Joel Brackett, of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers, and Duwan Booker, of St. Joseph Church in Conway and St. Bartholomew Church in Little Rock, will be commissioned as acolytes to serve at the altar during Mass, assist in the purification of Communion vessels and take holy Communion to the sick.
