Fr. Edward D'Almeida, pastor of St. Luke Church in Warren, recorded an update in this video to explain how donations through the One Church: Unite Arkansas in Faith and Mission campaign are being used.

He said: "The One Church initiative began last year and I'm happy to inform you that construction's begun on St. Luke's Church and classrooms in Warren, Arkansas. It's going very well. And I want to thank you for your support, your prayers and contributions. God willing, we're going to finish by Thanksgiving of this year. So once again, thank you and keep up the prayers and support. God bless."

The Diocese of Little Rock launched One Church in September 2018 to invite all parishes in Arkansas to partner with a neighboring rural parish that needs a one-time, financial boost to become a thriving community. Catholic Charities of Arkansas oversees this initiative, which runs from September to August each year.

St. Luke Church was chosen as the first One Church partner to help parishioners "raise enough money to begin renovations on an old farmers’ co-op to become their new church campus. The current building, which is more than 100 years old, needs major repairs and is too small for their congregation. They have no parish hall or parking lot. The religious education building only has room to schedule two classes at a time." To learn more about this need, read Arkansas Catholic
