This Mass will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and will include a speaker, freedom songs from the choir and an award given to a parishioner who is active in his or her community. Each January the Diocesan Council for Black Catholics hosts the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Mass, which is normally celebrated by Bishop Anthony B. Taylor at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock. However, this year, it was canceled to safeguard against COVID-19.
