Beacon of Hope grief ministry at St. Joseph Church in Conway is hosting Paws & Prayers, a discussion on the unique grief of losing a pet Thursday, April 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Spiritan Center. Father Matt Garrison, pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Barling and Sts. Sabina and Mary Church in Jenny Lind, will speak about the grief of losing his dog, Jonah. The evening will include group sharing and discussion on coping with pet loss. Attendees are asked to bring photos of their deceased pets.  Attendees will receive a special remembrance bookmark, created and donated by Hounds Hideaway in Conway. You do not have to be a parishioner or Catholic to attend.
