The Kermés festival will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 and will include an Our Lady of Guadalupe play at 5 and 7 p.m. Then on Sunday, Dec. 11 a procession will begin behind the Jones Center for Families at 2 p.m. and end at St. Raphael Church around 3 p.m. for Mass. Starting at 11:30 p.m. the community will gather again to sing songs to Mary (mañanitas with a mariachi band), followed by Mass at midnight, breakfast and more music. The celebration concludes with Mass at noon and 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12.
