Gus Lloyd, author, evangelist and host of the “Seize the Day” morning show on Sirius XM’s The Catholic Channel, will be the featured speaker April 29 at a fundraiser to bring Catholic radio to central Arkansas. “An Evening with Gus Lloyd,” will begin at 6 p.m. at McDonald Hall at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock. The event will include a silent auction and a raffle. “Gus Lloyd has a powerful story to tell in his journey of faith — a story of estrangement and a long homecoming,” said Phillip Renfro, head of Ark of Heaven Media Group. “His passion for the Catholic faith has inspired many through his radio program, his books and his 60-second daily online reflections.” Tickets are $65 a person or $600 for a table of 10. “We would like to encourage people to sponsor a priest, seminarian,” Renfro said. Three levels of sponsorships are also available.
