The annual Cardinal O'Connor Conference on Life, the largest, collegiate pro-life conference in the nation, will take place virtually via Zoom from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this year to safeguard against COVID-19. It is free to participate. Register online.The theme of this year’s conference is: “Global Pro-Life Approaches in the 21st Century.” The keynote speaker will be Gianna Jessen, a well-known, anti-abortion activist who was born during a failed saline abortion attempt. There will also be a distinguished panel discussing the consistent life ethic and its role in the 21st century. Panelists will be: Reggie Littlejohn, founder and president of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers; Valerie Huber, special representative for Global Women’s Health; Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, and executive director of Priests for Life’s, Civil Rights for the Unborn; and Sister Dede Byrne, Little Workers of the Sacred Heart. The panel will be moderated by Catherine Hadro, host and managing editor of EWTN Pro-Life Weekly.
