33rd Annual Life Chain

Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020

Location: Nationwide
Contact: Rebecca Hartman
Phone: (479) 300-6125

During a Life Chain, people gather together in a "peaceful and prayerful public witness" to form a line on sidewalks in cities across the United States and Canada. Participants pray and meditate for one hour to promote pro-life issues. Normally this event is held on Respect Life Sunday, which is always the first Sunday of Respect Life Month. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Life Chain has two official dates this year: Oct. 4 or Nov. 1. To date, the following four events have been confirmed in Arkansas:

  • Cherokee Village: 2021 U.S. Hwy 62 at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 2 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Flippin: U.S. Hwy 62, Main St at 8th Street, 1 - 3 p.m.
  • Green Forest: US-62 and N. Carroll Avenue, 2 - 3 p.m.
  • Marshall: N. Hwy 65, Medic Pharmacy parking lot, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
  • Little Rock: Bowman and Chenal Parkway, 2 - 3 p.m.

To confirm the dates for these events, or find out if any other cities will host Life Chains in Arkansas, contact Rebecca Hartman, Arkansas director of Life Chain, at (479) 300-6125 or visit the website for Life Chain.
