Responsible for providing and organizing support for ninth and tenth grade students and collaborating with counseling, academic and support staff to provide timely and proactive student support tailored to individual needs; must be passionate about improving student outcomes, have master's degree in school counseling and guidance from approved institution, or master’s degree in mental health area of licensure other than guidance and school counseling (MSW, LPC, etc.) and ability to seek licensure with Arkansas Department of Education, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships, ability to pass required background checks and high professional and ethical standards to manage confidential information; candidates currently enrolled in master’s degree program in school counseling given consideration based on experience
