Nearly $40,000 raised through One Church

As of May 2026, donors had given $39,271 for St. Edward Outreach Center in Texarkana, this year's One Church: Unite Arkansas in Faith and Mission partner in the Diocese of Little Rock.

For the past 40 years, the St. Edward Outreach Center has operated out of a 100-year-old house. Following a successful capital campaign, a groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility on parish property took place in October 2025. Bishop Anthony B. Taylor, pastor Father William Burmester, volunteers and clients were present for the occasion. The new outreach center is expected to open this summer.

While construction of the building is well underway, there is still more to do to be ready to offer expanded services from the new kitchen and food pantry. One Church donations this year will go toward operating the new facility. 

Donate online or mail a check to Catholic Charities of Arkansas, 2500 N. Tyler St., Little Rock, Arkansas, 72207 with a check made payable to “Diocese of Little Rock – One Church” and a notation for the “St. Edward Outreach Center.”
