Teens invited to put faith into action at C2SI

The Catholic Charities Summer Institute (C²SI) will be held July 14-18 at St. John Catholic Center in Little Rock. This event is open to rising high school freshmen through recent high school graduates who seek to not only learn about the Church's social teachings but to put them into action.

During the five-day summer program youth will "Investigate God’s Word in Life" as they learn the Church's social teachings on poverty, homelessness, the elderly, refugees, human trafficking, immigration issues, the protection of the unborn and care for God’s creation and more through classroom work each morning.

Then they will have the opportunity to put those teachings into action each afternoon by serving those in need in the community, and sharing these experiences with each other during evening discussion time. Daily Mass and the sacrament of reconciliation will be offered. See the registration form for a complete daily schedule.

The cost is $250 per person.
