One of the four Pontifical Mission Societies, the Society for the Propagation of the Faith seeks to awaken and deepen a missionary spirit of prayer and sacrifice for the universal mission of the Church. Promotional activities are carried out year round with an emphasis on the World Mission Sunday Appeal in October and the annual summer appeal.
