Encuentro Hispano

This daylong event, usually held in the fall, is for the whole family. It includes presentations, workshops, Mass, music, a talent show, health fair, immigration information, art festival and vendor booths.

Fostering Latino Leadership in Church and Society

This workshop provides intensive training in the use of the curriculum, “Power to Serve: Latino Leadership in Church and Society,” developed by the National Catholic Council for Hispanic Ministry (NCCHM). Based on extensive research, its goal is to nurture Hispanic leaders within their faith-based cultural context.

¿Por Qué Católico?

This four-year adult faith formation program for parishes is created and offered by RENEW International. It is based on the four pillars of the Catholic Church. This program is done on the parish level and began in this diocese in February 2007. For more information, contact Dc. Marcelino Luna.

St. Andrew School of Formation

The St. Andrew School of Formation began in the Diocese of Little Rock in March 2011 with the approval of Bishop Anthony B. Taylor and permission from Jose H. Prado Flores, founder of the St. Andrew school. The goal of this program is to establish a permanent school of evangelization in all five regions of Arkansas so the parishes are not only a place for worship, but also a table where the bread of the Word of God is distributed, and we have churches that are not only evangelized, but that go out and evangelize as well.
