Financial assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis and is dependent on the availability of funds. It is granted only at the request of a parish on behalf of an individual or family. These requests may include assistance for the following:

  • Utility bills

  • Housing

  • Emergency transportation

  • Prescriptions

  • Hearing aids/eyeglasses

  • Special emergency requests

People who need a referral to community agencies that provide emergency assistance should also call 2-1-1 or visit the Web site: www.arkansas211.org.
